Watch out when you remove the pan as there s a spring and a check ball on the outer edge that needs to be replaced when re installing the pan.

I had trouble finding a place to do the transmission part of this so i talked a muffler shop guy into doing it today as he was not busy.
I picked up a drain plug kit at a auto parts store and installed it when i had the pan off to change the transmission oil and filter.
It makes the draining job a lot easier next time.

Im not quite to my first transmission service yet but im not happy there isnt a drain plug on the pan.
