Pin and sew the top of the cover closed with a 1 2 seam allowance.
How to make a crib size duvet cover.
Take your two pieces of fabric and pin the them right sides together.
Match duvet to room colors.
Your duvet cover should measure about 50 long.
Lay your top layer print side down onto the bottom layer and pin all the way around on the 3 sides not pinning on the side with the hem and pocket.
Now fold the extra 6 inches over to make a pocket and make sure it s smooth.
Sew the bottons to the other piece just opposite the buttonholes.
Repeat on the other side.
You can use pinking shears to finish the edges if you d like but it is not necessary.
This will be the bottom corner of your cover.
When you have finished sewing turn your duvet cover right side out and iron.

You can make adjustments with a rotary cutter if the cover is too long.
Dec 10 2013 very simple to make duvet cover for a crib size duvet.
Sew along with 1 2 seam allowance sew all tia way round except the opening part.
Measure in 3 and 6 from each side on the line and mark an x for bigger duvet covers you ll obviously need to add more marks and more snaps.
Then sew it together with a 1 inch seam.
Measure 2 down from the fold and draw a line between your two marks.
Clip the top corners and turn the cover right side out.
